Rashad McCants is a former American professional basketball player with a net worth of $4 million dollars. He played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings, and Texas Legends before spending most of his time playing overseas. He is currently signed with Uberlandia in Brazil.

McCants attended the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, where he set numerous records and won several athletic honors. He was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2005. Although he struggled initially, he began to hit his stride in 2008. However, injuries and personal issues have plagued his professional league career.

In June 2014, McCants stirred controversy when he claimed that while he was a student at UNC, the school and athletic department helped the best athletes cheat and inflate grades. He also claimed that UNC provided bogus classes that allowed students to maintain their academic eligibility.
