THANKS to the likes of YouTube, Spotify and Apple Music, album art often isn't as appreciated as it used to be.
But musicians of days gone by were all about album art - and featuring the likes of "Jesus Use Me", "Sounds Of His Coming" and "Lord Touch Me", these hilarious Christian music album are some of the best.
1. Mike Crain - God's Power

Mike here describes himself as a 'Karatist Preacher' - and helpfully demonstrates his skills on the album cover, as he can be seen breaking some building blocks in half with his bare hands. Whether that's his power or God's at work remains unconfirmed.
2. The Louvin Brothers - Satan Is Real

It's not quite clear what's scarier - the thought of Satan being real, or Ira and Charlie Loudermilk's matching white suits and crazed facial expressions.
3. The Rappin' Reverend - I Ain't Into That

Released around the same time as legendary hip hop group N.W.A's formation, it's clear to see where The Rappin' Reverend gets his musical inspiration. But that's where the similarities end - Dr. C. Dexter Wise III is as straight edge as it gets.
4. The Singing Midget Lowell Mason and the Crusaders - Sing for God and Country

Well, it's not the catchiest band name ever, is it?
5. Mike Adkins - Thank You For The Dove

How is that dove staying so still? Surely he's not actually holding a dead dove. Surely not.
6. Ann Kathleen Beaty - God's Chosen Puppet

Presumably Ann Kathleen meant well - but this album cover truly is the stuff of nightmares. And as for her hand gestures... well they don't seem very Christian at all.
7. Country Church

She looks very pleased to be there. And who can blame her? It's well known that no woman can resist a man in... a turtle neck, tank top and plaid trousers.
8. The Faith Tones - Jesus Use Me

No, Faith Tones, don't say that!
9. The Winfield Gospelaires - He Did It All For Me

Again, it's mind-blowing that this made it onto an album cover without anyone objecting.
10. Orvel & Orvella - Lord Touch Me

Orvel and Orvella - is that really the sort of message you want to be sending out? Is it really?
11. Ira North - If I Were A Woman

When Beyonce did 'If I Were A Boy', it was obviously a hit. But this? What with the slicked back hair, the Bible and the intense stare... this is just plain creepy.
12. The Holy Milk Men - Quarts Of Love

Well, at least the local tailor was probably really pleased to sell his entire stock of white suits in one go.
13. Erick and Beverley Massegee - Amen!

It's a miracle Beverly Massegee can sleep at night after getting so close to that doll - after all, it does look like it's come straight off the set of a horror movie.
14. Marcy Sings - Jesus Loves Me

And Beverly isn't the only one who's got her hands on a creepy puppet - except, even worse, it looks like this one is meant for children.
15. The Handless Organist - Truly A Miracle Of God

A finally, playing the organ without hands is certainly impressive. This album cover, however... not so much.
